Entrepreneurs solving problems together!

Many entrepreneurs need a “creative partner.” Not just a coach, consultant, or mentor--but all three!--with “best-friend-level” investment in their success. I help entrepreneurs solve problems they don’t know they have—and build businesses to fully align with their authentic selves.

Whether you are starting a business or re-envisioning your business, you don’t have to do it all alone.

Starting a business alone can leave you questioning many of your decisions and even procrastinating because you don’t have immediate answers or the right tools to support you. This means you aren’t as far along as you’d like. Progress feels painfully slow. Doubt can creep in. With so much to do, how do you know you’re focused on the right things? And with such complex issues to face, you might be wondering, “Who can help me with all this?”

As your creative partner, I bring more ideation--and more momentum--to the table. I focus on “foundations”--the elements you must get right to succeed. And our work always respects who you are as an entrepreneur with unique capabilities.

You started your own business--solely responsible for business success--because you saw a better way. And you wanted to ensure you could bring that vision to life--maybe without compromise. It was exhilarating at first--knowing you didn’t have to answer to anyone else and that you were the one driving results. And now that you’ve grown, you realize having a sounding board would be valuable. Weary of having to make all the decisions alone and knowing you have blindspots, you’d like to turn to professionals who round out not only your skill set but your perspective, too. You’re looking for someone who can be a champion and a great equalizer at the same time. Someone you can share the decision-making with--or at least the analysis--instead of spin on or procrastinate. You need someone who can develop a plan of action for your vision of next-level success.

I’m a proponent of continuous improvement, with training from Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting and ABPMP plus a combination of strengths suited to finding solutions and getting started. This makes me uniquely positioned to uncover unidentified areas for improvement, refine understanding of the potential problems at hand, prioritize them, and create momentum in implementing solutions. Most clients have strengths in a few but not all of these areas--making collaboration with me the missing piece that clicks everything into high gear.

How Creative Partnering Helps Entrepreneurs

Creative Partnering™ Engagements aren’t for all entrepreneurs. In fact, I currently only work with 3 clients at a time, and usually for year-long engagements. So, it’s not the quick fix or the McConsulting or McCoaching program. Creative Partnering clients value freedom and flexibility in a coaching/consulting solution.

Creative partnering is for entrepreneurs who are...

  • TDZ-Star-black

    Bona fide experts (aka badasses)

  • TDZ-Star-black

Willing to be transparent and vulnerable (and know the greatest rewards come from honest business and honest relationships)

  • TDZ-Star-black

Ready to invest in themselves (finally)

  • TDZ-Star-black

Able to lead themselves--and understand the necessity of that ability

Here are a few of the common
scenarios in which creative partnering helps:

  • TDZ-Star-black

The customer experience is “off” (whether you know it or not) and costing you lost business and hits to your reputation

  • TDZ-Star-black

You are working way more than you want and you still feel like you’re not getting enough (of the important things) done

  • TDZ-Star-black

You have a vision; you can’t see the path to implementation so it’s slowing you down

  • TDZ-Star-black

You’re facing a challenge and you need outside perspective to identify/analyze potential solutions and overcome it--once and for all

This is not an exhaustive list, of course. Each client is unique and an individual, and their businesses are extensions of themselves. Which means, business success is determined by all their strengths minus all their gaps in efficiency, knowledge, and ability. With me as your creative partner, you gain awareness of these gaps and develop plans to fill them to ensure you’re pursuing the path to success as you define it.
